Anyone know if the '67-'69 rear lower valence panels are all the same? I have a '67 Barracuda convertible, and I need to replace the panel. The one listed by AMD for '67-'69s seems to have somewhat different exhaust cutouts than my original. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

There are difference with each year.

67 Standard, 1 round cutout (273-2 & /6)
67 273-4, 1 rectangular cutout (resonator tip)
67 383, 2 round cutouts
67 All, backup lights.

68, 318 & /6 1 round cutout
68 other 2 rectangular cutouts
68 No backup lights, all.

69, 318 & /6 1 round cutout
69 other 2 rectangular cutouts
69 All, backup lights.

I think I got this right,

Alan

I replaced the rear valance on my 69 with the amd part. It worked out good. The valance has no back up light holes so you can use it on all 3 years. I like the dual exhaust cut outs that I didn’t have originally.
I left the backup lights off my 69 because they were crappy looking and new ones cost so much. I put an led light strip on top of the license plate for a bu light. My 68 I had in my youth didn’t have them, so I don’t really like them anyway.

Many thanks Alan!

I changed the panel on my 67 with the panel that has 2 rectangle cut outs as I will be putting duel exhaust on it. It was hard to cut the backup light holes.just take your time.

I sorely need to replace mine on my 68.....but I don't know how to do it.....

Drill lots of holes, weld lots of holes, grind lots of welds and paint.
Didn't know how to do mine either but it would up on there anyway. Just lots of time finding all the spot welds and then clamping everything in place.
