leak from oil pump area

hello ABF,
I just got my 727 trans. rebuilt and as I was inspecting it I saw a small amount of trans. fluid coming from the pump area. I know this is not normal, but is it possible to leak a bit while transporting it from the shop. Keep in mind it was level at all times.
