Almost a year since posting here. Some progress porting the X heads. All so far mostly has been carbide burr. I need to use the abrasive rolls yet for final sanding. I'm starting to learn the terminology after reading lots and watching a lot of YouTube. I'm surprised there isnt more videos/how to's on the X heads.
Cylinders 2/4/6/8.
I tried to focus on the guide boss and guide boss tail. I also did short side radius on the floor which (see 2nd last pic with burr in pic, intake #4) is where I tried to smooth/blend out the transition to valve seat.
Last pic with green pencil intake #2 is where I focused on minimizing the bump on the tail. Main focus was on the tail turn into the flow path, but tried to minimize tail everywhere.
Advice/pointers?
