Got a number of things checked off the list today.
-Distributor gear removed along with dizzy to get ready for oil priming.
-Painting spark plugs out. NGKs ready to go in after oil priming.
-Snuggled up some loose bolts here and there.
-Steering column installed onto Borg box with BCA coupler. Will snug set screw later.
-Power steering fluid reservoir filled Lucas brand.
-Filled oil filter and added 4 quarts of some vintage VR-1 10w30 from 2004. Then some extra zddp additive for cam/engine break-in.
-Dropped air cleaner base from Mancini Racing installed. Hood closes nicely now.
-Got started on wiring triple gauges and tach. Using the left over slots in the bulkhead wiring harness. Bought the correct Packard connectors. Pain in the *** with a cheapie packard crimper. Didn’t quite finish but should not take too much longer to wire.
Oil (electric) pressure sending unit hits intake manifold. Will need to source an extension/adapter of sorts.
All in all a very good day on the Dart
