Yeah I'm not even sure if I'm going to paint the body gold? I just did that to the motor compartment because it was kind of funky and different. It'll probably be a couple years before I paint it anyways and when I do I have hopes and aspirations of doing it myself. Maybe just touching up the very little body work that needs to be done (dings and such) and renting a booth and shooting it. I never see myself having 10K to get it painted..

I agree with that I'm in the same boat I'm never gonna have the money to pay someone to do the body and paint it right so I'm gonna do it myself and just do the best job I possibly can. I have seen alot of DIY home paint jobs turn out really nice. I have also seen them turn out really crappy. I have done one of those myself.
So this go around I'm painting the bay first then after the engine is in and it is drivable I will slowly start the bodywork and eventually paint it. The same color as the engine bay.
