I feel your pain. I am the same way from flat rate. The guys I work with now joke with me because my lunch is gone before they start but that was learned from flat rate also. You will get it in the end.

Yeah I worked flat rate myself and you're always fighting that dam clock. Most of the time you made your money with your pen and good writing skills.
