Hi fabo will be posting pics of my build. This will be my first mopar to own, which is kinda strange being my father and uncle have always been mopar guys. My father Tab began this build before I was involved and may post the info later in the thread. But I will post the progress since I’ve acquired the car.
Here are some pics of the car being stripped down and primered.

Looks like a great start.
What are your build plans for the car?
What was the car equipped like originally?
From what i can tell, it was orange with bucket seats, column auto, V8, p.s. and air.
And if the hood and scoop are original, it looks to be a 340 car.

H Code car?
No 318 console auto but original FE5 Rallye Red with White interior and stripes...this was the color combo I had been looking for for over 5 years. Found this one out of Arizona and one of the best bodies I’ve ever seen. I gave this one to my son to restore as I’m about done with projects...just want to enjoy the ones I’ve finished!!! I will be helping him out with the restoration but will need your guys input as well!!!

Nothing beats getting a solid body for a restoration !

Plans are to build a street cruiser with enough power to play with occasionally.
Going to go back Rallye Red with black stripes, a completely blacked out hood, and black rear spoiler. Thinking I would like the white interior though.
Will be building a stroker motor to put in most likely from a 340 block we have. Undecided on exactly what stroke head/cam combination.
Will be talking to engine builder and putting car back in the paint shop tomorrow.

Got the car loaded up and taken to the paint shop. Painter said approximately a month depending on the weather.

Next we will begin to order parts to build the motor. And compile a list of other parts needed.

Looks like a great car to start with. Y'all saved your painter a bunch of time by stripping it yourselves, and getting it in primer. Keep up the good work!

interesting rear wheels...almost looks like 6 lugs?
what kind of rear end is that?

Well the car the painter actually did this about a year ago when my father was going to restore it. However, he had too many projects and this one was set aside.

My dad went by the paint shop and there’s more red now! No color sanding or clear coat yet. We are gonna bring it back home and install motor and all the supporting items before the paint is complete. This will allow any knicks to be repaired and the paint to look it’s best once complete.

Picked up these rims and tires on the cheap. Not sure if they will fit or if I will like them on the car but I can resell them if they don’t work out.
The fronts are 18x8 235/40
The rear are 18x9.5 265/35 (tires will need replacing before long)
