I have owned many many Taurus and have yet to find one that didnt function flawlessly. Granted some are a little rough around the edges may not be as pretty as I like or the trigger might not be as light as I prefer but they all function and for the price I'd highly recommend one for a carry gun or a truck gun. Or even a beginning shooter just starting out that dont have a grand to drop on a high dollar gun. As a matter of fact I still carry a Taurus TCP 380 everyday as a backup to my glock 26.

Another was using an all brass 12 ga load in a pump shotgun. He said the sound of that brass cartridge getting jacked into the chamber was so un-nerving it got the attention of the intruder long before things escalated.
