Honest value
I may get flamed on this but it's just my opinion and nothing meant against the OP/seller. And this is from the perspective that I am not so in love with these cars as to be able to pay extra cash for the pleasure of having one. The numbers have to work for me with this car. Also taking into account where it is, and how it's being stored in the pictures, and the appearance of what has been posted...
In it's current state I wouldn't even look at it. Unfortunately living in paradise has a monetary cost to those of us not living in it. I wouldn't pay more than the airline tickets and hotel to come and see that what you have is indeed what you say and I'm literally on the other side of the planet from it. No suggestions on your honesty intended there - it's a buyer beware world. I'd have to see it, then get it all to "home". That's going to cost more than I'd pay for the car in boxes knowing what's left to complete it.
All done (correctly and well) - I'd still call it $40K where it sits. I'd still need to see it in person, and then I'd have to transport it. So months and dollars on me, taking off cash price from you. I think, if it was on the mainland, and done right, it's $50-55K all day long and the buyers pool is much, much larger. In HI you will need to find the local guy that knows and loves them to get that kind of money.
