Yes Agree here, Make it tastefully your's.

Think it can look better than the factory color if you do it right. Here is an example of a friend of mine Jim's 74 rust free body Dart Swinger, before and after pictures. I think the after picture is just awesome. He is a professional body man and painter and he was saying that he was going to put a Killer Paint Job on that Dart. Well I guess he did . . .

I don't think there is even any comparison, I like the custom color choice here way better than the factory green. Fortunately he had a nice Tan factory original interior color that worked well with his color change.

The new color even has just a tad of Pearl in it, and the windows were lightly tinted.

Tastefully Done . . .
