Will I kill the value of my Demon

So I am considering buying a buddies 1971 Demon. It’s on original triple f7 H code car with the original white side and rear stripe. It has the original 340 motor, but has a 727 instead of the a904.
Body is clean, interior is beat up, defiantly needs a repaint. Would I kill the value and history of the car to change the color? I was thinking Green Go or Sublime green. Not many H code cars that I see for sale anymore but I just never liked f7.

personally i think it would look great F7 green... the go green or lime green is way too over done in my opinion..

will it kill the value? hard to say. being a 340 car the ones that bring the most would be as original as possible in most cases. but F7 would also turn some buyers off the lime green may open up to more buyers. guess in the end its up to you but i'd keep the F7 if it was mine...
