You have the dots wrong. The dot on the cam gear should be at the 6 o'clock position NOT 12 o'clock. Crank gear is right.

It is! But there's a reason I didn't crack the throttle over an idle. Die's OR stumble's, backfire's then dies as soon as it move's off idle the least little bit. Haha. Gonna start tuning on the carb when I get home. Re-built Edelbrock 1405.
