1974 Scamp some assembly required

But I have a question and yes I went back through and looked first...no I'm not being an ***...did you fix the cam gear and put it at 6 o'clock position? cause no matter how much timing and carb building you do the dots aren't ever going to line up just in passing when turning...Top dead center dots should face each other cam 6:00, crank 12:00.

Just wondering cause I never saw where you said yes I tore the timing plate off and fixed the gear on the cam
