Homemade 6 pack metering plates...

Not trying to be a dick but try answering outside the quote tags.

I’m on Long Island and I currently have 2, 6 pack set ups not yet off the ground. Small Stroker small block (372) on B engine. CID - TBD.

Your paying to have someone tune it is the $$$ downfall where you need to learn the system via “Trial by Fire.” Which sucks one way, but totally awesome in another because then, and only then, “You will know!”

Now with a grain of salt, not having been there yet, I don’t see what the problem is. And that I may find out when I get there. But as described by those in the know, this is a 4bbl. But with 2 extra secondary ends and with idle circuits on each carb.
(Sounds like upgrades Holley’s.)

Way back when..... LOL..... an old mentor/local hot rodded told me when I was a teenager, this system is simple a monkey can do it but it just sucks to disassemble it for every jet change.

He said;
“Tune your primary first. Then go to the secondary side. Don’t change the springs until it is otherwise dialed in.” In which I spoke with another member here who did a mod to the air passage to the vacuum secondary pods. He drilled them out larger and installed jets to regulate the system to his liking.

The only difference between them and now are the upgrades parts that were not available then.
Best of luck and wishes on your tuning days.

I maybe in for a hard time but a challenge is always good to keep the brain healthy.

Is this better? I got fat fingers and was dealing with a terroristic 3 year old! Also, I was speaking with a member about tuning and teaching me some last year, but ran out of money and time so hoping to rekindle that conversation sooner than later.
