67/68/69 cuda dilemma
Did a little more tonight. Installed correct 69 hood latch, striker, upper header panel, squared up the nose and screwed down the tops of the fenders. Had to strip the paint off the beak and put a little rattle can primer because i just couldent feel if the hood and header panel were centered with one another. They were, just didnt look or feel that way. Used some 80 grit on my DA and stripped a small part on drivers door to see how deep the rust pitting is. Then hit it with a little rattle can primer just to see. Will strip it back off and probably use naval jelly and some sheet plastic to hold the naval jelly against the door skin to clean out all the tiny pitting.
