8.25 rearend
an 87 thru 90 dodge dakota 2wd rear end is only about 2 inches longer flange to flange, if you have fender clearance and on a 2wd spring perches or on bottom of housing like a car, if you find a 4wd spring perches or on top,and woud have to have spring perches moved ,but most of the 4wd are 355 or 391 gears, on the 2wd you usually can find a 323, also same with jeep cherokees,starting somewhere in the early 1980s up to 1992 most of them are 355 or 391, but they are a little longer flange to flange than the dakota and the spring perches are a little wider
