That is a lot of good info. I have both LA and Magnum blocks. Just trying to keep cost reasonable. I guess it comes down to trying to retro fit roller lifters on an LA block or oiling the valve train on the magnum block. It might be a chore drilling the magnum block for thru the block oiling... It could be done. Slow and easy.

If i use the Magnum block is there a limit to the lift a stock Magnum roller lifter can handle?
