The basics here.... Just a guess, one person on this board is playing wholesaler. He locks up your parts with partial payment and then tries to sell those same parts elsewhere for much more. If it's successful, you get paid. If not, he backs out, wants a return of his money and leaves you with your parts and months of potential sales to other people that wanted them prior. DON'T play that game. NEVER take a partial payment and allow someone else to get FREE storage from you. Cash and carry or no dice.

Wanna play in this arena.... all deposits are non refundable... PERIOD! If the person balks at that arrangement, you have your answer regarding the likelyhood of a completed deal.

Put it in writing via email or PM and keep a copy.

Yep, he did this to me twice with a set of 11" rear drum brakes. Jerked me around first time. Made me hold them 3 weeks, gave me a sad story. I believed it, then he backed out. About a month or so later he then asked about em a second time. Wanted me to hold em for 3-4 weeks again waiting for payment, and then backed out again. After the second time i realized he wanted me to play warehouse for these parts. I refuse to deal w him now. Screw me once shame on you, screw me twice shame on me.

Granted this isnt my primary job. Its just a hobby to me, but when i have parts for sale its because i am trying to help finance my builds, and get pieces in the hands of those who need them. Tying up somebodys parts and **** blocking another potential buyer from the seller, as well as not paying the seller in a timely fashion in full for the parts you bought is the mark of an A$$hole.

My word and integrity is important to me. I try to list every flaw i can, and ship promptly when payed. I pride myself in a 100% positive feedback. I find out bigboy68 was a few different screen names, but suspected it for awhile. I guess i'm not the only one he tried to use as a satellite warehouse, and then back out of a deal.
