Valve pocket/bowl hog tools....

I must be stupid. I use tulip headed valves on everything I can. There is a reason for it. And it make sense.

Nail heads look good when you measure the port and put them on a flow bench, but the tulip will make more power. Every time.

I have always said that a tulip valve flows better, It is something I learned from a Chrysler engineer way back in the day and his explanation was throw a ball at a wall and it bounces back, throw a ball at a wall at a 45* angle and it really doesn't slow down just changes directions.
