Many of the things discussed on this thread, can be traced back in history to a time when the North vs the South. A part of this country's darker side of history, caused by one source of government "telling" citizens how to conduct their lives, some of which was justifiable, but a point that was used to invoke more control over individual rights to privacy and confiscation of personal property. I can tell you with full confidence, if examples discussed on this thread were to occur here, the actions of the local citizens would be "VERY VOCAL" and swift. I've lived here since 1984 and found that there were and still are, long held beliefs and social values that this "Florida boy," found hard to deal with. But! One thing I'm glad about living here is; the folks here would not stand for this type of "strong arm tactics."
