Doris Day '69 Ragtop
I thought she used a mod top in her tv show as well.
No Mod Top cars. In the first season she drove a green 68 & 69 Sport Satellite wagon. 2nd season, a red 69 Barracuda convertible with tan deluxe interior and wire wheel covers. In the 3rd season it was a red 70 Barracuda Gran Coupe convertible with tan interior and wire wheel covers. The 4th season it was a red 71 Barracuda convertible with tan interior. Not sure if she was ever shown with a car in the 5th and final season.
On the Here's Lucy tv show with Lucille Ball, there was a green 69 Mod Top Barracuda that appeared in the background in a couple episodes, along with a red 69 Barracuda convertible (with black interior) and a blue 69 Barracuda convertible. But Lucille Ball's car in those shows was a yellow 65 Dart GT convertible with black interior and Cragers, and later, a yellow 70 Satellite convertible. Not aware of any other TV shows from that period that had any Mod top cars.
The red Barracuda convertible on Here's Lucy may have been the same one that showed up on at least one episode of Petticoat Junction.
There was also a late 60's tv show called The Name of the Game, in which actor Tony Franciosa drove a red 68 Barracuda 318 convertible, with a trunk mounted luggage rack, in the first season, and a red 69 Barracuda convertible, also with luggage rack, in the second season.
A red slant six 68 Barracuda convertible appeared in the 1968 movie, The Mad Room, with Stella Stevens, and a red 69 Barracuda convertible was prominently featured in a Chuck Connor movie called Set This Town on Fire that was filmed in 69 but not released till it was first aired on TV a couple years later.
