Post a pic of your mopar license plate wether it be a novelty, vintage or custom plate
My car has had many engines over it's lifetime including a big block. Right now, it has a 408 small block in it. Wedge refers to the shape of the Chrysler V8 cylinder heads used in ALL post war engines except the 318 Poly and of course, the Hemi.
Cool. A stroker small block is no slouch either. Shows how long it's been since I've thought about anything small block Mopar, I couldn't remember if they were wedge heads too ..W-2 heads were "the thing" the last time I had a small block Mopar. I even had the Direct Connection T-Shirt hawking the new W-2 heads that had the caption "Plan A Head to Win" featuring a blueprint blue ink technical drawing of the W-2 head....
I have the 452 circa 1978 heads that came on the 71 steel crank heavy rods 440 in my real V-code 70 Roadrunner. With the Edelbrock/Chrysler aluminum 6bbl intake and Promax modded Holley 3x2 bbl carbs, headers are 1 7/8" TTi, purple stripe cam is suspected to be the top hydraulic offering-the 292°/.509, CompCams lifters, springs, 10° locks and retainers. 4.10 Ring and Pinion gearset replaced the Track Pack 3.54s in the Dana 60 when I installed the Passon Performance a855 5 speed. Yep-I went from 3,500 RPMs in 4th at appx 70 mph with the old 18 spline a833 and 3.54s to 2,750 RPMs at 72 mph in 5th with 4.10s!
Very very happy with the new top gear+4.10 RPM range on the highway. It's a BIG improvement, those 750 RPMs less, than screaming along at 3,500. The improvement in jump up and go the 4.10 gives is great too.
Anyway I am going to get some TrickFlow 240s soon, and I am excited about how those heads are really going to augment what I already have, especially the cam.
