Are my expectations too high?

The biggest enemies your going to face obtaining the time or quicker will hooking up and ACTUAL car weight.

I have spoke to a number of guys that have used the MP create engine in a drag only car. Dusters seemed most popular, anyway... The general range was from 12.7 - 12.0 but quicker when the car was a Dedicated tray car completely got it with a lot of lightweight parts. How far you want to take this, is completely up to you. I don’t know if this is a street car, street strip car, or just a drag car. And how far do you want to take that vehicle is a question for you to answer. I don’t know how you feel about spending a lot of money on fiberglass parts and getting rid of most of your interior.
Thanks for the reply. The interior of the car retains the original heater box still. I am running bucket seats and console in it but no back seat. So it’s still inline with factory weight I suppose.
I’ve done a few test hits with the car on the street and hit hooks pretty well.
The engine revs pretty quick to 5500 but falls a little flat beyond that. Seems pretty normal compared to dyno results of that engine. It’s defininetly a different animal compared to the LA 360 that used to reside between the fender wells.
