Whats everyone using for a battery disconnect switch on their mopar new and old?
The moroso switch came in, checked the resistance on the new switch and its at .5 ohm. Virtually as low as it can be. Got it in and everything works. Also seems to start better but not sure. The moroso is rated at 175 continuous and 1000 amps momentary, my old switch was rated at 180 or 190 continuous and only 450 momentary. I checked the old switch for the hell of it and with it switched on multiple times i got anywhere between .5 ohm and 3 ohms of resistance. Id about like to take apart the old switch and see if the contacts inside are corroded or burned, it is a sealed waterproof switch so maybe that caused my issue in the long run?
The battery tray and hardware got freshened up too while i had it out.
I couldnt get the moroso on/off sticker to look good because when you tighten the switch nut it wrinkles the decal. So i reused the old switch on/off plate.
The black wire is my ground going from the battery to the drivers side cylinder head.
Freshened up the battery tray as well
Hopefully the switch will last
