That sounds better. hoe does the car run now? is it pretty quick? does it pull nice? pin ya in the seat when ya punch it etc? Its possible it may have been rebuilt before, or at least had the heads redone.
Yea it's pretty quick as it is. Punched it the other day and it threw my daughter in the seat and she gave me this look of what the heck was that daddy before smiling and telling me to do it again. I am pretty sure the guy said it has been rebuilt before, I just don't know when it was done or have any paperwork on it, so I'm worried about putting anything on the car performance wise before knowing much about the engine.
When hot out it stutters a little, it also doesn't like to start right away after driving it sometimes you have to pump the gas and crank it 3-4 times before it turns back over.
Drove it the other day down the street to the auto store 5-10 minute drive there and 5-10 back. Got home and it decided to piss coolant through the overflow all over the garage. So project for this weekend is cleaning the current radiator, finding a fan shroud, water pump, coolant hoses, and possibly a new radiator later on.
I also don't know how to tune a carb lol. I started watching some youtube videos on carb tuning yesterday. I have the edelbrock RPM AIr Gap 7576, Edelbrock 1405 carb (pretty sure it's the 1405 but could be the 1406 as it's very hard to tell)
