66- e brake handle assembly

Need help- this is an parking brake handle assembly I took apart to glass bead, repaint for my 66’ barracuda a few years ago. With all the parts done I shelved while the car was being done. Well I tried to reassemble and the 2 “gates” and single double loop retaining spring is giving me issues. Anyone have a picture of how the actually go? Either one gate works and the other does not OR neither ratchet. The FSM does not show that kind of detail. Thanks, Joe
