If it was me, I think I'd be looking for a Thumpr/Whiplash whatever; The HUG 1326 installed at 104 has an Ica of just 53*, so your early, Hi-compression,318 will still have some torque left over. And with 111* of exhaust duration, it won't be that hard on fuel. With 46* of overlap and headers, it should idle similar to a stock 340. And with 223* @.050 intake duration, it will make a bit of power too. All-in-all a good choice, and well worth the buy in, for this application..
