Vintage Portable Generator
I ended up scoring this really cool vintage generator the other day for $50. I'm really into vintage anything, especially if it was made in the USA and has an engine! I am going to guess that this was made in the late 60's to the mid 70's.
That ancient 7 horsepower Briggs & Stratton engine starts right up, but it does need some carburetor work. The generator itself does seem to be putting out power as well, but I am unsure of how consistent it really is.
I have been trying to find some history on the generator and even the company, so I did some research and nothing is really showing up.
Does anyone know much about these Sommer Electric generators?
