Holey mackerel

Question, I had read that the convertibles had thicker rocker panels than the Barracuda’s with roofs.
Did you find evidence of that on this rebuild?
Can you tell how the thicker rockers were originally made?
Did they just stamp them
from thicker metal, or is there an additional part inside the rocker that made it thicker? By how much?
Any evidence of original torque boxes ?

Though this photo of the reinforcement is from an e body. They are similar for the abody. And this is the torque box from the barracuda.
