Oh I definitely know what you mean about looking at new parts , we all get carried away sometimes. I tell my son " get it running and drive it, enjoy it, get to know it, how it drives, handles ect." Then when something pops up that's not "right" (which it will as its 50 years old) fix it. He's almost 18, has big plans for it but is realizing that it's more fun to drive . (We have winter to work on upgrades). Besides, I think your "helper" is ready for another ride in her purple car!!
