We have almost talked ourselves into welding up the side trim holes. The car has a few panel from different cars so none of the trim lines up very well so at the very least the doors and fenders needs to be welded so they can be installed in a straight line. The vibe of the car is sporty and to us that chrome says sophistication..... What do you think?

I love the look of the trim but after many hours of taking out dents, I don't know that I'd do it again. We did have the radio antenna hole plugged and painted over. I felt like that was an improvement. I also had front grill chrome plated hoping it would add more strength against future dents.
