1962 Lancer project...Bringing it back to life...
Well everything has gone great so far...Engine runs great, got the brakes rebuilt and are the are working as they should, test drive with temporary fuel system was smooth as glass, I got cocky haha. dropped the tank to clean it and inspect it and it is complete junk...its had about 3/8 of a tank of gas in it since the 80's and the top half of the tank is paper thin and rusted through in a couple places...I just tore the metal getting the filler tube out of it. I know no tank is available for it so Im just going to build my own tank...nothing fancy, just a square tank to fit where the original fit in...will take pics of what I do to get a tank to fit. Here is a pic of the old tank...
