Any advice on what I need to know about country living/owning property?

We moved onto 10 acres about 15 years ago and will NEVER go back as long as our health holds. A lot more work but worth it. Ours has a half acre pond that add so much dimension. Waterfowl, bass bluegill bullfrogs croaking and every season shows a new face. We use the daylights out of our atv's and the grandkids have a blast. We put in a few fruit trees and altho we mow 3.5 acres it takes about 1 1/2 hours which is a fine time rocking out without a care.
