You know about removing the big snap-ring at the rear end of the bar, right? Also make sure you completely unload the bar by loosening the adjustment screw at the lower control arm.
Nope, Ive never removed one. I have read a couple of threads on how to do it, and I found a nifty video online of a guy doing it on a early 70s charger that I'm going to watch here in a bit.
I got my fan mounted to my clutch but not in on the wp yet. These bolts are freaking long, I'll probably have to pull the radiator to get it all in because I have even less space with the clutch attached to the new fan with these bolt, or maybe I'll go look for some slightly shorter bolts.
