Glad to hear . Having the MiL at your anniversary vacation is a bit weird....
My other sister got married a few years back, lasted about 5 months. Come to find out that what she thought was a honeymoon vacation as a wedding gift, turned into the grooms entire immediate family, his brother, sister, mom, dad and grandparents with them, in one suite in Panama City. She didn’t find out until they all showed up at the airport.
