Stop in for a cup of coffee

Yeah, it is very important to know what you can get it for in a store. If not you can be horribly fooled. In my old home country people were not used to auctions, then the military started selling surplus stuff, and people went bananas. A few times people could get things for a decent price, but very often people went home with an empty wallet and the "tail between their legs" as we say. Except a young boy, about 12 or so, the guy holding the auction asked him, what are you interested in, they were selling a military Massey Ferguson farm tractor, very little hours with half tracks and trailer and tire chains. The boy said, oh, I am going to be a farmer when I grow up, and need a tractor. The guy asked the boy, how much money do you have ? 1500 Norwegian they boy answered (about $160.00). The guy asked, is that what you are bidding. The boy smiled, and said yes, and the guy smacked the hammer in the table, sold to the young man there and pointed at the boy. Before anyone had a chance to react. So, it is obviously possible. :)
