Or you could look into a USCT support. If you were hell bent on doing it. But there are spot welds all the way up the inner fenders, and some fun to combat on the front of the rails. I put a 327 in an s-10 when I was about 18. I cut the top of the support on both sides and welded it back when we were done. Seems unnecessary now. I would pull the motor and K frame and go out the bottom, that way you can really get in and clean everything without the suspension in the way.
