My buddy and I in high school tried to take a 904 apart once and crashed and burned...

I would like to take a class to learn how to rebuild one myself.. I like to do as much of my own work as I can so I know that it's done right...

The guy that I used in Detroit for 30 years is the only guy who could get them right... When you installed the kick down linkage and had it adjusted properly, it shifted perfectly... Not too soon, or not too late... That's why he was my go to guy for decades... I tried other shops, but they couldn't get it right like Alan did... Last I heard, Alan got incurable MLS and couldn't even walk through his own house... I think he passed away by now... His shop is closed... I really miss him...
