The little Demon three barrels are fine carburetors. I have one on my 75 F250 and love it. They will require the thin (about 1/16") plate to run on a spread bore intake. It's not the 1" thick aluminum crap. There's no need for that. It's like 12 bucks. ANd I'm not sure I would go with the 750. What size is your Thermoquad now? They are either 800 or 850 but Carter measured flow differently, so when you go to another style carburetor, to get it right, you usually need to go down a size or two.
