I guess it depends on how the carburetor base is made. I forget as mine has been on a while. I know "I" would not want "just a gasket" sealing the secondary side. It will seal I am sure for a while, but with no metal to back it up.....I don't know for how long. It would suck to be on the road when it failed.
Understood, I'll have to see what arrives. Now my only issue might be the kick down linkage. I'm going to transfer the carb rod from the TQ and install it on the Demon.
