1970 Swinger 340 Hemi Orange 4 speed
Got the roof blocked out (turned out perfect) did the A pillars and drivers C pillar as well as the rain gutters got putty/blocked. Then started on the hood.. the front was crushed in so spent a few hours metal finishing it and re welding the blown spotwelds/stress cracks. Then ran the block over the hood only to find it was pretty rough. I puttied all the bad spots and will give it a thick coat of polyester spray filler. The damaged area got a skim coat of fibreglass and them regular filler. Hopefully tomorrow I can get it in polyester! I’d like to get the hood in HS primer by the weekend so I can start on the other side..
