Tried to ask in the body forum about using Rust-Oleum primer and then acrylic paint, but not sure I got any wiser of the few answers I got. What say you guys ?
I saw someone posted up a cracked up steering wheel they were thinking about repairing was that you Bill ?
I imagine you could do the bodywork tricks on filling the cracks prime it with an automotive primer surfacer, sand that, then apply an automotive finish to it to cover over all the work. Lots of time for the interior colors, they just use the Base Coat color coat for the car without the final clear coat, that way it stays flatter to go with the rest of the interior without the shine.
