I very well may be the painter, so I could be my own worst enemy The wax will be going on after the undercoat. Gotta finish painting underside 1st. Baby steps lol. Thanks for the input.

The wax job should be done after the paint job, or your painter will kill you. In the hot paint cabine the wax drip out of the hidden areas. As the first step i like the a 2K epoxy primer on the rustfree sheetmetal.
