Stop in for a cup of coffee

:soapbox:I get that stores don’t want to pay ‘extra’ people. But if you are going to run a skeleton crew, at least have someone competent in key positions. Stopped in Home Depot on my way to work yesterday for a couple cans of spray paint. Need approval because of idiots that sniff paint. Lol. Saw multiple employees around other parts of store doing little to nothing. Woman that is supposed to do that is on other side of counter a little ways down but should easily have heard register loudly proclaiming ‘self checkout customer needs assistance’ about every 30 seconds. After 5-6 times she starts moving. Walks out to the aisle... and goes the other way. :wtf: I was already cutting it close on time to get to work, so walked out without my paint.
Unfortunately welcome to 21st century America. I stopped shopping at Home Depot, Lowe’s etc . Local building supply store that’s a mom and pop that has been in business forever not only has better service, but their prices are competitive enough to stay in business. Sometimes they’re a tad higher, sometimes they’re lower, depends on the item.

And I’m not the only one that feels that way cause they are always packed. Home Depot, never more than 2-3 people in line ever
