Stop in for a cup of coffee

Hey guys, I am on DSL at 5 mbs, 3 miles from the switch box, right at the distance limit before it falls on it's face.

I am happy with this for this area in the country, but now they have trenched in a fiber optics line right past my house with a junction box and junction boxes at all the neighbors too for access.

I know it takes time for them to build out this new network but what can I expect when it is done. Speeds and how to hookup into my home ?
