One of the best things I ever did was changing from the KYBs to the SPAX.

When I started, there was very little choice.
Koni or KYB were about it in the after market.
Koni wasn't even really offering them. You had to have the drag race versions converted to the road race version.

Had a friend using KYBs on Saab. Same issues.

Now there are lots of in between choices. The Spax are a pain to get in the USA, but they were a great deal when there was no other choice than going Konis at nearly $400 a corner.
KYB shocks are not bad for average guys driving on the street. Matt, you actually road race your car, whole different can O worms. IMO.
