Stop in for a cup of coffee

I see, in Norway Wagner has been used for American cars, and portrayed as "the" American brand... well, now I learned something new.

As a total sidestep, how is the ride of the 06 Charger SRT compared to the 12 Chrysler 300 ? My wife has a 06 Charter R/T Daytona. But, she does not have the original tires, when she bought it someone had put 20 inch rims on. Still my 04 Mercury Grand Marquis with stock rims and tire size is more uncomfortable to drive than the Daytona. So, I am curious about how a regular Charger from 06 would be, and the Chrysler 300.
I miss the old softness in American cars. My 65 Dart has a softer ride than any of our newer cars.

The ‘06 SRT has a very stiff performance suspension. I always say that I could run over a coin on the road and tell you if it is heads or tails...LOL! It has 20” factory wheels and I run 275/40 Continental DWS tires on all 4 corners. 425 HP and 420 lb-ft torque with a 3.92 Getrag LSD rear differential and 4 piston brembo brakes. It’s a handful to drive and you know it’s a performance car on every road.

The 300 C is a luxury car and rides smooth, but firm when it counts. It has 18” wheels with 235/55 Continental DWS tires on all four. Stock everything else and gets 30 mpg highway. An absolutely fabulous daily driver on all roads and a pleasure on the highway. Kick it the *** and the Hemi will roar all 362 HP.

A regular ‘06 Charger would be closer to the 300 C than the SRT, but the 300 C is it’s own thing...luxury with a touch of performance where you want it.
