I have a long road in front of me. These guys already have cars together and running. Mine is still in a million pieces cuz of all the setbacks from the wannabe engine builders that I have had work on my engines. But other than the tires and a few things like gaskets and seals I believe I have everything to put a couple of cars together.

And just in a little fairness to Jabs, read what I quoted from his 1st post of this race. He stated in the beginning of all of this he had a long road ahead of him. And besides no cooperation with the weather, and life itself, I'll also add this, he isn't as "young", shall we say?? :D And I'll say it, maybe a little procrastination down there, but so what? This race was meant to be fun, and only fun - meaning it happens on our pleasure with no pressure. At least Jabs has stuck with it, and is still working towards making this happen - even if we line up next Spring - hats off to him! :) He is no quitter.
