NEW Slant Six Manifold for $98 on Ebay? Any good?

Ebay did accept my return request quickly and I did get a response from the vendor claiming the exhaust would work even though it looked ugly.
I guess the quarter inch crescent shaped ledge of metal protruding into the manifold at the pipe end is no big deal! They will “accept” my return for refund however.

I just found the Dorman at Rockauto for $219. plus shipping. If you have a discount code for it it may defray the cost a little.

So I returned the manifold and did get a fairly prompt refund although I had to pay for return shipping. Never understood how any business could send you a defective product, acknowledge it as defective, but make you pay for sending it back. It always equals me never doing business with that vendor again.
 
I bought something similar on eBay and have had good luck with it. I agree the hardware was junk so I reused my old stuff. I purchased a remflex gasket off amazon and it’s been doing great all summer. I do drive this slant all winter and it gets down to -20f here in MN. I will report back on how it survives the temp changes.
It also had a bung for an O2 gauge which was a plus.
Overall I’d buy the cheaply exhaust manifold again.
