Truly sir you are a gentleman and a mopar lovin' car friend...
I sure have. Ergo this question
While we are on the subject, I am looking to buy me a 340 if possible 69 block but that is not important,at all.
As usual thanks to you and all the mopar fans that are always helping their fellow mopar fans looking for some parts, info, engine or merely some advice

I don't see how I helped, unless you are now sure they can accept the stock intake pattern. At any rate, you are most welcome.
Oh I thought you said they did, As always I jumped the and didn't read it properly the first time.
Regardless, thanks for the response.
We'll just wait and see if any one else knows for sure.
Thank you.

I was involved in the assembly of such a 340 CID combo. But there were no headers yet built for the 71 Cuda. That goes back to ~2013.
I was just the assembler; my boss was "the engineer". I told him there were no headers before he started the project. In the end he bought three sets of headers to make one finished set, And I had to make custom engine brackets to raise and reposition the engine. And that required some clutch linkage re-engineering. And we had to "custom modify" the firewall pinchweld.
We put a honking big cam in her,and in the end, My boss said, she made 497 hp. Those are Canadian horses tho.
Cheeit we couldda probably done that with a 360 and Alloy heads; for half the money....... but the customer was adamant that we build a 340.
Where in Canada are you? I got a 340 block.
Was this the case in 2011 to 2013, with BAs?The standard Brodix small block head uses standard headers
I got nothing against the French, but then again, I would probably vote for a separation wall. I would be fine with sending my tax dollars towards the west. We have all that we need right here in the West. Well except for year-round fresh fruit for everybody.im in montreal, Quebec
Home of the French seperatists that think the province is theirs.
Not to mention the French that come from Europe keep telling us “What language are they speaking” it sure is not French, Go Figure.
I guess its akin to hearing folk from Cajun town and thinking they are speaking French.

Yes, I did my research in ‘96/‘98. I almost purchased a set of Brodix heads. I spoke with Brodix on the phone. They were pricier than the Edelbrock heads but offered no more of a air flow ceiling out of there standard head. The MC units still required a bit of work OOTB to use. The CNC MC version on paper was worth it. IF! You were going there.... I was not.Was this the case in 2011 to 2013, with BAs?
The Boss bought one set for the header flanges, another for the chassis. When, after cutting those up, and the two would still not co-operate, he bought a third set. Then married them. There was a lot header pipe stuff that found their way into the trash bin when all was said and done.
We will get that as fresh as possible fruit from south of the Equator. South America is in there growing season and I’ll be most happy to buy lots of food and fruit from Brazil and Argentina. No problem! YUM!I got nothing against the French, but then again, I would probably vote for a separation wall. I would be fine with sending my tax dollars towards the west. Tell the motherland French that if they don’t like the butchering of the language, they should have held on to you. Then say, “Suck it up buttercup or go home.”im in montreal, Quebec

How did you like themI ran the B1-Ba heads on a 408. Yes, any small intake will work.
They worked pretty good for what they were. They were the B1BA. They had come off of a dirt engine. They were angle milled to try and get as much compression possible with a stock stroke 360. I used them on a 408. Compression was 15 to 1. In a 3300 lbs./with driver Dart, best E.T. was 11.07 @118. Track elevation 1350. DA was around 3800.How did you like them

I should also add, the intake ports were only gasket matched. Nothing done to the exhaust.Nice!
The standard Brodix small block head uses standard headers while the MC has a blank face.

There is so much you can suck up..after a while you start gagging....
I had a bunch of instructors from bum Bartier come down to help school is on the new equipment that we use from them. They were the very cool people. Excellent sense humor with a real zest for life. I miss those guys they were super cool.
